THE TED696 PROJECT
The TED696 Project is a collaboration between artists and Tooheys Extra Dry to launch the new 696mL longneck. Luca Ionescu, DMOTE and Studio Number One/ Shepard Fairey have each been commissioned to design a limited edition brown paper bag.
GET INVOLVED
For the first time you also have the opportunity to use longneck bags as a design canvas. Your work will be judged by leading international designers, and could go on to be prized, published, exhibited and reproduced. The overall winner chosen by the judges will receive a 15" Mac Book Pro and software package to the value of $5,000, and a framed set of designs signed by DMOTE, Luca and Studio Number One/ Shepard Fairey. The 10 finalists will each recieve two cases of Ted 696. The winner and finalists will also have the opportunity to collaborate with TED on future design projects around music, art and fashion.
EXHIBITION
The TED696 Project will be displayed at the MTV Gallery in Sydney on 13 June 2008. The work displayed will include the winner, finalists and a selection of the best entries. DMOTE, Luca and Studio Number One/ Shepard Fairey's designs will also be on display, as well as an additional piece by Sydney street artist NUMSKULL. Plus live music and the new 696 longnecks.
